One Touch System

The One Touch System is a fully automated truss production line that simplifies workflow. It requires the timber to only be touched once, from pack of timber to stack of trusses.

This complete, modular system integrates timber delivery, cutting, jigging, pressing and stacking into one seamless workflow – significantly reducing manual handling, boosting output and addressing the biggest challenges facing truss plants today: • Labour Shortages • Safety and OH&S Compliance • Production Speed • Quality Control • Scalability.

Here’s how the process works – from pack to stack.

Watch the One Touch System in action

PieceGiver

Delivers individual timber lengths from pre-assigned timber packs. A travelling head scans the timber, which is flipped (if required) and delivered to the PieceMaker.

PieceMaker

A dedicated truss cutting saw with a fully automated cutting console that optimises and cuts all truss members to length.

GlideAway - Jigging Station

The only human touchpoint. Operators place the timber onto the jigging stations, which position it precisely using automated bobbins and overhead lasers. Once assembled, the truss is transferred onto the roller conveyor.

GlideAway - Pressing Station

Comprises two fully automated pressing heads and an integrated joint scanner. The robotic plate feeder selects and orients the plates. The press heads move to each joint and automatically apply the plates. The integrated scanner checks joint accuracy and performs real-time quality assurance.

Finishing Roller

Finishing Roller – The completed truss travels through the roller for final engagement of the nail plates.

Truss Stacker

The telescopic arms lift and stack the completed trusses.
